Your support and encouragement helps us get through each day as we fight our battle against Niemann Pick Type C, the “Childhood Alzheimer’s.” We read all messages posted to our family and while we may not be able to respond to each message, your messages are very touching. Please know that I am praying for you – for a cure that will allow the joy that you bring to those around you to outlast this disease. Also know, as I’m sure you do, that you are truly blessed to have your mommy and daddy to guide you. They are an inspiration to me and I send them lots of love and strength.
Oh, little girls that we have watched, by way of pictures, for nearly four years…we pray for the miracle of healthy tomorrows for you both. You have been such treasurers to all of your extended family.
Although I have never cradled you, nor hugged you, nor read a story to you…we have so enjoyed hearing about you via our computer. We love you, Addi and Cassi; and some day I hope to give you a real hug!
In the meantime, please…Addi will you hug your Mom; and Cassi, will you hug your Dad for us? And then give each other a hug….all for us.
