Your support and encouragement helps us get through each day as we fight our battle against Niemann Pick Type C, the “Childhood Alzheimer’s.” We read all messages posted to our family and while we may not be able to respond to each message, your messages are very touching. I have some problems with peripheral neuropathy and recently learned that alpha lipoic acid was shown to help certain people with this type of neurolical problem. The Mayo Clinic was involved in the research, so you might want to Google it.
Since this is a neurological condition, it might be worth looking into. I am not a Dr., but I know what it is like to have a medical problem that no one knows how to address. Maybe it could be of some help.
Our wish is for someone to find a medicine to make you all better and able to run,play and dance like our sister does. We have a penny jar on our counter for Gabrielle’s Gift- Coins for a Cure so we can help save little girls like you and make your wish come true.-Josh and TOmmy Cason age 10 and 7.
