We were never aware of this disease until we saw Addi and Cassi. Two beautiful girls fighting the fight of their lives. How lucky they are to have you for parents. Your friends the Grenert’s were the ones that opened our eyes to this. The tears were flowing when we watched the video. Medical science is amazing these days. You will be in our prayers that they find a cure or treatment for your girls. God bless you all.

We wish you all the very best..that the Researchers will be successful and expedient in their findings to secure a cure and/or an effective treatment for this dreadful, unheard of disease. My son Adam was diagnosed 11 years ago. Adam..is now 22…and we cherish him..and every day we have with him..as we journey together. We are blessed to have caring people in our life. We are thankful that we have God on our side…and …we want you to know that when no one understands…we do…and ….we want you to be the success story! All the very best..from our heart to yours…Maggie

    To the Hempel family,
I watched you on the show The Doctors the other day and I was really impressed by how strong you are and how much determination you have for finding a cure for your beautiful twins. I think you are both amazing parents. I strongly believe that one day all your effort and hard work will pay off, and you will be hope for so many other little girls and boys around the world. As a mother of two, I was crying while watching your show, and cannot imagine the agony you must be going through. My sincere thoughts and prayers are with you. Good luck and I hope you never give up. God bless your family.
