I saw you on The Doctor’s yesterday, and it absolutely broke my heart. I am in my second year at Canadore College for Mental Health and Addictions. I have to do a project on a mental illness and ironically enough my topic is Alzheimer’s disease, however now I have persuaded my group to do something on your particular case and that is a possibility and can happen….. I admire your strength, and I admire your hope..
I believe hope is the key medication to surviving an illness.. for family, friends and the sufferer.
Believe in a recovery, hope for a cure, and imagine a life wihtout it.
You will always be in my prayers.

I just watched you on The Doctors. I’m so proud of both of you taking charge of the care of your kids. I can only imagine how stressful and frustrating it is for the both of you, with the diagnosis and the care of the girls. I have three girls and I run a daycare, and I know how crazy it can get. My prayers are with you and the girls, and the world is blessed by you, and the girls for opening our eyes to this disease. Your strength is inspiring!

I cried watching you and your beautiful girls on The Doctor’s. I wish you continued strength and I pray that a cure will be found soon. It is heartbreaking to realize that this devastating desease can be found in children. You epitomize strength and love. Your daughter’s are so fortunate to have you both. Keep strong and keep the faith and I will keep you all in my prayers

As a nanny and a person who LOVES children I am heart broken and amazed that young children can get Alzheimers. My thoughts and well wishes are with you and your wonderful children. You both are the BEST parents in the world. Not giving up when it is seems so much easier to just threw the towel in but you hold on to that towel so tight no one will EVER be able to get it out of your hearts.
