Make A Wish For Addi and Cassi Today
Your support and encouragement helps us get through each day as we fight our battle against Niemann Pick Type C, the “Childhood Alzheimer’s.” We read all messages posted to our family and while we may not be able to respond to each message, your messages are very touching. Thank you to everyone around the world who has posted on our Wishes Board.
Just saw the Doctors show tonight… wow. I’d never even heard of this. As a fellow twin mommy, my heart just broke in half thinking of what you must be going through. I hope and pray a cure be found soon.
I heard about your story on the doctors it touched me. I hope you get the million wishes you hope for and I hope your beautiful daughters are doing good.
I also saw you and your beautiful family on the new Dr. show. What a great job you and your husband did on educating the public of this horrific illness. I had never heard of this until today. I wish I lived closer so that I could help you in your daily chores. What a blessing it would be to spend time with your 2 beautiful girls. I only hope your community supports you in whatever, a grocery store run, a cooked meal, etc. This is when the saying “it takes a village to raise children” is defined. Those whom do have the chance to know Addi and Cassi are so lucky. They are gifts from God.
You are wonderful parents and give yourself a pat on the back……. a couple of pats.. I oh so pray you have a support team around the both of you.
As I was watching the show, I could’nt stop thinking what brave parents and these people are in the fight of their lives,,,,,, and how creative in the way you are getting help for your girls. Use of the web cams are brilliant!! So dedicated. These girls could not have been given better parents. God knew who to send them to. The Hempel family has just been added to my daily prayers!!!!!
