Dear Hempel Family,
I saw your story on Good Morning America and was moved to tears. I too am the mother of 4 year old twin girls. I am so blessed that they are healthy and hearing your story has made me once again so grateful for that. In my daily life with 4 year olds who sometime fight, throw fits and are obstinate, I tend to forget to be thankful for healthy children.
Please know that you are in my prayers. We will be praying for Addi and Cassi everynight. Please tell them that two other twin girls just their age, Ellie & Piper send them hugs from far away in Grand Rapids Michigan.

I read about your little girls, and I just wanted to send my prayers to them and the whole family. As a mother myself, I find it very hard to imagine what you must be going through. I wish all the best to these two little angels, and everyone else affected by this disease. Keep strong and remember all the good things in life. Children are gifts.
