Please know that I am praying for you - for a cure that will allow the joy that you bring to those around you to outlast this disease. Also know, as I’m sure you do, that you are truly blessed to have your mommy and daddy to guide you. They are an inspiration to me and I send them lots of love and strength.

Oh, little girls that we have watched, by way of pictures, for nearly four years…we pray for the miracle of healthy tomorrows for you both. You have been such treasurers to all of your extended family.
Although I have never cradled you, nor hugged you, nor read a story to you…we have so enjoyed hearing about you via our computer. We love you, Addi and Cassi; and some day I hope to give you a real hug!
In the meantime, please…Addi will you hug your Mom; and Cassi, will you hug your Dad for us? And then give each other a hug….all for us.
We pray for God’s special touch on your bodies and your tomorrows, and for God’s strength for your parents.

Hello Addi & Cassi,
Today is Sunday and it’s a warm day on the Carribbean Sea. The air smells wet and salty. The waves are large but there is a calmness that surrounds me as I say hello & let you know Gods arms are around you and your Mom and Dad. I am fortunate to have been friends with your Mom and Dad for many years. It has been four years since I saw you at your baby shower, but I remember it well. Today I will say my prayers and make a wish that you are always warm and happy and that you get better soon!

Bev Hempel is Jeanne’s sister. We have been in touch with the situation with Addi and Cassi and have them in our prayers.
