Make A Wish For Addi and Cassi Today

Dandelion-Final

Your support and encouragement helps us get through each day as we fight our battle against Niemann Pick Type C, the “Childhood Alzheimer’s.”  We read all messages posted to our family and while we may not be able to respond to each message, your messages are very touching.  Thank you to everyone around the world who has posted on our Wishes Board.

  2. Its like you read my mind! You seem to know a lot about this, like
you wrote the book in it or something. I think that you can do with a few pics to drive the message home
a bit, but other than that, this is magnificent blog.
An excellent read. I will certainly be back.

I discovered your compelling and visionary work (and your beautiful twin girls) through a site that had featured Kaitlyn Maher. It was seeing Kaitlyn’s work at age five for one of your fundraisers that took me to the site. I wish you all the best, and would give if I could, but am on my own medical trek with two relatively rare disorders (Ehler’s-Danlos syndrome–EDS–and Arachnoiditis) that have me trying to live on SSI at the moment making it difficult to fund donations; the loose joints and arthritis from the EDS make knitting and crocheting impossible, or I’d make a cap for you, sorry. Instead, I will put the word out to everyone I know to try and get my friends to this site, as I am posting this site to my Facebook page and will Tweet about it as well. I hope that I can bring in some donors with some word of mouth work on my part! God bless you all!

I just read the article in June’s Ladies Home Journal and I can’t stop thinking about you, Chris. You are my new “hero”! I have 4 beautiful daughters ( 1 with a disability ) and I am in awe of your courage and determination. There are Angels among us and I think you come pretty close. Your article is hung on my office wall at home and I look at it every morning. I’ve prayed for you and your girls and will continue to keep your whole family in my thoughts and prayers from now on. God bless you and keep you strong!!You define the word, “MOTHER”.

    Chris and Hugh,
Thinking of the girls lately and my thoughts are with you and them. I spread the awareness of Niemann Pick Type C whenever I have the opportunity and am grateful I was a part of the girls’ lives as their teacher. Love to you.
