I always open Addi & Cassi ‘s email first when I see it in my inbox, every time hoping the news is of a breakthru and this was really wonderful news! I am praying so hard that this is the answer to all our prayers and that cyclodextrin will help them be healthy. I am sending my most fervent positive thoughts to all of you. God Bless.

I just watched the video from GMA in the e-mail that you sent out. I am sending tons of prayers to the girls hoping that this new treatment is effective in their fight against this disease. You as parents are amazing and hopefully you have found something that will benefit other children. My mom knits the care caps for your cause and I always think of the girls when I see those little hats sitting in her home waiting to be mailed. God bless all of you!

I saw your story on Good Morning America . I am the Grandmother of 5 year old twins. My prayers are with you all I pray your research pays off. This is such a sad thing to even hear about much less live. You have got to be among the best parents ever! Addi and Cassi are so cute it is heartbreaking to see them struggle with this.I am praying, wishing, and hoping for a miracle! I know you are giving this all you’ve got and more! I Love you both searching to the end and back for cure I know you will not stop.Your all in my prayers every minute. Sue Powers Asher and Bella’s Gramma

When I saw the girls’ story on GMA online this morning, I was instantly broken. The two-second blip about Cassi perhaps forgetting how to swallow hastened a sobbing prayer for me, and I know that God hears my prayers. He has acted boldly and courageously in my life, and I will continue to stand in the gap between our present reality, and the heavenly bliss that is to come in Christ. I will continue to pray that a piece of heaven come down and become part of your reality for Cassi and Addi. Luke 1:37: for nothing is impossible with God. I have a one-year old who looks just like your girls (so strange), and another girl on the way. God hears a mother’s prayers. With all faith – Jill

Your girls are the cutest and sweetest little angels! As a nurse and a mother of 2 year old twin girls, I was truly touched by your story. Myself and my grls will send special prayers your way for a cure. Also, to give your family continued strength and courage to fight for your beautiful girls. I’m sure your days are so long and you are so tired as we all are, mentally and physically but when you peek on those girls when they’re sleeping……the love you feel—-that’s all you need really keep you going. Cherish your everydays, keep up the fight Hempels!! I’m rooting for you!! Fondly, Natalie F
