Your support and encouragement helps us get through each day as we fight our battle against Niemann Pick Type C, the “Childhood Alzheimer’s.” We read all messages posted to our family and while we may not be able to respond to each message, your messages are very touching. You are absolute heroes for the work you are doing to help your daughters. Your story has touched me and I hope that these treatments will save your beautiful daughters. My oldest son is autistic and I do worry about his future. We continue to work hard each day so that he may reach his fullest potential.
My heart goes out to you and your family. I have twin girls (fraternal) and I cant even imagine this happening. I will keep you in my prayers.

You are all in my prayers, thoughts and you really touched my heart today and many days to come. I lost my grandmother to Alzheimer’s first and later to pneumonia when she no longer recognized our family. I know the levels of grief, the longterm feeling of being so alone and helpless. Your story gives me hope as we’re not sure if the Alzheimer’s that afflicted my grandmother could be passed down to the rest of us that there might be some hope for us too.
