While you both are on this Journey, there are countless family members and friends that love and believe in you. We walk with you, hold your hands and at times carry you. No one knows for certain where we are heading, but we have unwavering faith that God will lay a healing hand on you. As each new day passes, more knowledge is gained about NP-C and we are one step closer to finding a treatment and cure. We pray for your family everyday and we know that God is listening. God is always listening.

Hugh, Chris and SWEET PRECIOUS Addi & Cassi,
On October 19th I read an email from my dear friend of 34 years that his little girls were diagnosed with this terrible disease. To say my heart aches for this special family does not even come close to the feelings that I am experiencing. Since that day they are not very far from my thoughts and are constantly in my prayers.
Addi and Cassi you have been dealt the most unfair thing I have ever seen in my life. However I am confident that we ARE going to beat this!!! Rest easy we will not fail you.
Your Mom & Dad were given news that no parent should ever receive. So what have they done, they have taken this devastating news head on. I always new they were oustanding people but the way they have attacked this has been beyond inspiring. Chris and Hugh you are my heroes.
I know in my heart that your network WILL respond in your time of need and they will place a blanket of love around the 4 of you. I pledge 25 years of experience in the health care field to you. I also pledge that I will leverage my network to aid you in your quest for a cure.
I ask that anyone who reads this to be aggressive and insert yourself in the process. There is no time to waist you can and will make a difference. First we lift this burden from the Hempel family and make sure no other family has to go through this.
