Make A Wish For Addi and Cassi Today

Dandelion-Final

Your support and encouragement helps us get through each day as we fight our battle against Niemann Pick Type C, the “Childhood Alzheimer’s.”  We read all messages posted to our family and while we may not be able to respond to each message, your messages are very touching.  Thank you to everyone around the world who has posted on our Wishes Board.

Your babies are beautiful angels. I pray God doesnt take them home early. I pray he gives them time to enjoy the small yet memberable things, like puppies breath, rainbows, all the colors he puts on butterflies. But should He take them home it well be for them not for Him, may your sorrow be diminished with the memory of their beautiful faces an the thought that one day you well see them again.
May God watch over your children an give the doctors the means they need to help them
    God Bless

I would like to say ‘Thank You’ to Hugh and Chris for helping to make it possible for other children with this disease. My heart goes out to you and everyone who has been touched by this. I came across your story as I was looking for research on the differnt types of dementia for a project. I am a CCA student working in a long term care facility, in a dementia unit. As I watched the video’s that you have made (wonderful)I found myself seeing similar behaviors in the elderly resident at the facility. It is truly amazing that there isn’t a cure for such a common illness such as alzheimers.
Again, my heart and prayers go out to you and everyone. I pray you get the help and answers you so desperatly seek.
    God Bless.

    Jacklyn

I feel for you, one of my twins was just diagnosed a year ago and we are going through the battle. I cannot imagine what I would do if BOTH of my twins had it, one is so difficult to deal with.

God bless you all. You are in my prayers.

I am sending so much love and light to all of you-I came across this website because my best friend has begun her her journey with her son since discovering the cherry red spot in his eyes-He has not been diagnosed, I am praying deeply for all of you living and dealing with these diseases and feel they have to find a cure-or maybe we have to find a cure-with dedication, education and god we are capable of anything! All of my prayers-Suzy
