    Addi & Cassi,

Keep smiling, beautiful girls! You will be in my prayers.

I happened to see a Philadelphia Baseball player who was helping a child with this condition. He never heard of it nor had I. I went on the internet and found your site. My grandmother had Alzheimer’s and my dad is at the beginning stages. I wish your family nothing but happiness and a CURE! They are beautiful girls and you are all now in my prayers. There has to be a cure! God Bless you all!

  3. I send not only a wish, but a fervent prayer for you and your two beautiful children. I can’t imagine what you’re going through. My husband has Alzheimer’s and this is hard enough, but with children, it must be 100 times worse. We care but He cares so much more!!

My mother just passed away in July from Alzheimer’s, she was only 73 yrs old, she was diagnosed at 63 yrs of age, I never thought anything could hurt so bad, then I happen to see the show on your children, they were an inspiration to me, to keep fighting for a cure. My whole family wore the purple bracelot with the symbol & the saying (a reason to hope), but my daughter turned 18 a few yrs ago & decided to get it tattooed on her foot, her dad & myself didn’t like it at first, but she kept saying it was for her mamma, well then last year we moved to FL. & I got it tattooed on my foot, & took the bracelot to the ocean & said a prayer & thru the bracelot in the ocean, my mom passed away exactly 6 wks to that day. But, now I looked down at my foot & I believe there is hope, I would like to do something for your beautiful girls. I am sure you have gotten thousand’s of emails, but if you do read this one, please if you think of something, let me know. I had to retire early, I am only 52, I sit at home, I could send letters out to people that really don’t understand this disease, I have gotten so many questions about my tattoo, alot more than I did about my bracelot & it gives me a chance to tell them about. Also, after my mother passed my 2 sisters decided to do the same thing. Maybe we will start a new trend instead of the bracelots. I feel for your family, it is hard enough to see an older family member, I can’t imagine watching your child. I will be thinking & saying a prayer for you family every day.

What little cuties! I wish you all the best in finding a cure for these two, and I’ll make sure that I pass this on to everyone – I’d never even heard of Childhood Alzheimers until I read your web site but it’s something that’s obviously scary and real and hopefully they can find a cure.
