I wish the world for you both, and for Chris and Hugh, who love you so much and who would move mountains for you in an instant if it would help you in any way. I wish that all the support and love your family receives from people all over the world will translate into real help and progress in researching your condition and finding a cure. I wish for enough money to fund your treatment and drugs until that cure is found. And I wish for you both to be able to sing a lullaby again some time really soon. Dear Chris, Hugh, Jim, Cathy, Cassi and Addi,
I love all of you so much and I am extremely proud of what all of you are doing and accomplishing! All of you are so positive when we visit and it must be pure hell seeing Cassi and Addi struggle daily with the ups (because of what all of you are doing) and the downs.
All your efforts are doing so much to find a cure and getting the word out about NP-C. Because of all work you do getting the word out I read about Corynne and Cathryn Bouchard in the fall 2008 “A goal for life” sent out by the Ara Parseghian Medical Rsearch Foundation. Those lovely girls proved “ALL OF YOUR WORK” getting the word out did its job. As I read about their mother checking on the girls condition of enlarged livers and spleens on the computer the first symptoms match showed NP-C. Their mother did not have two years to find out about NP-C, now it is the first match because of all of you. I am extremely sorry the Bouchards lost Corynne and Cathryn so early, but it proved doctors are now testing suspect children earlier for NP-C which benefits everyone.
Your family on the Doctors show was very good. It showed the pure love and passion your family has to find a cure and definitely got the word out.
