Make A Wish For Addi and Cassi Today
Your support and encouragement helps us get through each day as we fight our battle against Niemann Pick Type C, the “Childhood Alzheimer’s.” We read all messages posted to our family and while we may not be able to respond to each message, your messages are very touching. Thank you to everyone around the world who has posted on our Wishes Board.

Dearest Addi and Cassi,
Every day I pray for a cure for NP-C. I pray for you to get well. You are part of a very special family. We adults will help extend this ‘family’ worldwide. Love and positive energy will flow to you from everywhere.
Your job is to keep smiling and laughing and playing. A miracle is around the corner.
God bless you and your parents,
Grandma Bev
Chris & Hugh
I am Connie Coffrin’s daughter and have been so touched by your story. Your family is in our thoughts and prayers daily. I noticed that one or your Doctors is at Children’s Hospital in Oakland which is only 15 minutes from our home in Alamo. We’d welcome you and the girls to come and stay with us any time! We will pray for a cure. Your daughters are so beautiful! Our best, Beth!
Dear Addi and Cassi,
My Grandpa’s sister is your Grandma Bev. I am 4 years old. I’m going to school. I live in Hot Springs, South Dakota.
I saw a picture of you eating your first birthday cake. You made a big mess.
I hope you get well soon so we can play together. I dressed as a Kitty Cat Fairy for Halloween. What did you go as? I like every part of candy.
I have so much Barbie dolls. I have a real big Barbie doll house I can hide in. It has an elevator that goes up and down.
I love you.
Katie
Dear Addi and Cassi,
I look forward to your first day of kindergarten, taking you to Disneyland when you turn 5 and simply being with you every single day to love you and play with you. I do not want to lose a minute of precious time with you, my darling girls.
I have faith in my heart that we will find a cure for NP-C. I pray everyday that the scientists and researchers will find the key to make cholesterol function properly inside of you. Certainly if we have landed a man on the moon, we can find a solution to NP-C. I will do everything I can to help you fight NP-C. I have seen bravery come is the smallest of packages — you two girls are the bravest of all.
I love you very much,
Grandma Cathy
Dear Hugh and Chris,
I was walking my dog Kylie to a near by park that I go to just about every day. I was talking to a very nice man who I have had the pleasure of getting know over the last couple of months. His name is Jim Messemer, a good friend of yours.
He shared with me the difficult times you all have been going through. My heart and prayers go out to you and your beautiful daughters Addi & Cassi.
I hope and pray that Addi and Cassi get all help and care they need.
Sincerely,
Paul Otto
