Make A Wish For Addi and Cassi Today
Your support and encouragement helps us get through each day as we fight our battle against Niemann Pick Type C, the “Childhood Alzheimer’s.” We read all messages posted to our family and while we may not be able to respond to each message, your messages are very touching. Thank you to everyone around the world who has posted on our Wishes Board.

Addi, Cassi, Chris and Hugh:
(I’m not sure if my previous wish posted or not but I used to work with Chris and Hugh in the early days at Netscape. I heard about your story and your site from a friend and former Portland neighbor now living in Reno.)
I visit your site often to remain informed of each miracle and milestone, however small they may be. Your fight is obviously being fought with such incredible courage, strength, hope, support and love – what an inspiration you are to the world! My prayers and wishes are with you and your entire extended family every day. I believe in miracles and the special one that has your names on it.
Thank you for your inspirational education about this terrible disease. And, what a beautiful photo journal of your lives….WOW!
With hugs and wishes from Portland, OR,
Deb (Dougherty) Elmgren
To you two beautiful girls and your Mummy and Daddy – my biggest hugs and kisses for your daily journey through all its beauty and possibilities. From Mitchell’s Mum, Liat Harrower xxxxx
Hello Hempel Family,
Just a quick summer note to say you all continue to be in my thoughts and prayers. Thank you for all you do on behalf of kids in need.
God Bless,
Kathy Love
Hi —
I came across your website as I was researching Alzheimer’s. I work for a not-for-profit community based Alzheimer’s organization and educate persons regarding this terrible disease. In addition, my father has Alzheimer’s and mother died of Alzheimer’s. I was touched by the stories on your website, including that of your beautiful girls. I will help to spread the word that dementia affects all ages. My prayers are with you.
It’s amazing the networking that goes on in this world. I was just reading about CollabRx and it is inspiring. So many people working to help so many others. We humans are a great race.
We all continue to send positive energy to you. A lot of love is being sent your way.
Bev
