I saw the article in the paper today about the GMA segment. Good for you. You guys are doing everything you can to spread the word which is critical in this situation. My nephew Connor has Juvenile Batten Disease (JNCL) which is very very similar to what your babies are going through. It too is autosomal(sp?) recessive and he had the misfortune of inheriting the defective gen from my brother and his wife. It has been a long hard battle and watching the progression is heartbreaking.
I really feel for you all and wish you and the girls the very best in hopes of finding a cure. I am certain that the cure for any one type of these diseases will be able to translate over to the others.
I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers as I know the daily struggles and grief that come along with this. God bless you folks.
