Make A Wish For Addi and Cassi Today

Dandelion-Final

Your support and encouragement helps us get through each day as we fight our battle against Niemann Pick Type C, the “Childhood Alzheimer’s.”  We read all messages posted to our family and while we may not be able to respond to each message, your messages are very touching.  Thank you to everyone around the world who has posted on our Wishes Board.

Tears are streaming down my face as I look at the photos of your beautiful girls.

I am a single mother of a one-year old girl, and I cannot begin to imagine your terror, but I can imagine the determination with which you will search for treatment and a cure.

Unfortunately, my financial situation does not allow me to donate money at this time, but please know that my prayers will be with you daily from now on.

I am a mother of a 7 month old little girl and it breaks my heart to think about two beautiful little girls having to struggle with this disease. My grandmother who I helped take care of had alheimer’s and I know how that is and I can’t imagine a child let alone two having to go through something like that. I will pray for them and your family to make it through this.

My heartfelt wishes and prayers go out to your beautiful twin girls. This suggestion will sound crazy, but have you had the girls checked for arsenic poisoning? You may try giving each girl a garlic tablet (I doubt they will eat a clove) and see if their conditions improve at all. And do some research on arsenic poisoning…there is a wealth of information online. As I said, this sounds crazy, but it might give some sort of answer.
    Take care…

I am the Grandmother of two little boys 3 1/2 and 2 years old who also have a fatal genetic disease, Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. At this point in time there is no cure, but there is hope. Research is accelerating for an answer to this illness. I hope some of this research could overlap and also uncover some hope for your little girls. They are beautiful and precious beyond means, as are my two little grandsons. I will pray for Addi and Cassi and hopefully you can remember my grandsons, Cole and Jack in your prayers.

My heart goes out to you and your fight to find some help. I had not heard of this until friends, Pam and Monte, emailed the article to me. My heart goes out to you as twins can be so special. I had twins and they were so much fun. I will say a little pray for you and the children. Wish you and your family all the luck you can get
