I don’t know if this helps, but i was watching something on TV yesterday and only got a glimpse of it. There was a Doctor (sorry I don’t remember her name, city or state she’s from) that has research results of Diabetic medication that works on Alzheimer patients. She says that Alzheimer is diabeties of the brain, or something to that effect.

Dear Christine, Jim and family…Your twins are so beautiful it is hard to register the news. I know I can’t understand the nightmare you are going through, but I do know the love of a mom and a dad and how all encompassing it is and how tight the bond to your children. Of course, it is not fair, it is not comprehendible, it is not the way the world is supposed to work. I know exactly what you are doing, trying to immerse yourself in the medical world, knowing its weaknesses, its excesses and its pace…like trying to push an elephant through a doorway. It turns out we know so little, we have to get up to speed just to ask the questions.
I am so sorry for your troubles…I will be praying for you and Addie and Cassi and for Grandpa and Grandma. Personally in my life I know that there is something or someone who helps us when all else goes wrong. You can only do all you can do and believe that miracles happen.. Paul & Janice Stenger
