Dear Addi and Cassi: May G-d help the doctors and researchers find a cure for this terrible disease and may it be in time to help cure you and all the other children who are sick with it. I Worked with your Uncle Steven many years ago and am still in touch with him — and he told me about you. I will say prayers for you often. May you and your Mommy and Daddy be strong and of good courage, and may G-d be with you.
My prayers are with you and all the amazing children fighting this horrible disease. My desire to fight for your family, for Gabrielle and for all the beautiful children I met this past weekend is stronger than ever. The glimmer of Hope found this weekend has to be made into a hugh spotlight. Together we can change the world and fight this awful disease. I hugged and kissed my children extra hard last night. We will find a way to beat this.
Such beautiful girls. I just lost my mother (60) to dementia. Fight like our lives depend on it, mine might. I pray that the lord covers you in love and peace.
I saw Cassi and Addi’s story on ABC news and immediately went to your website. You have 2 beautiful daughters. My thoughts are with you and your family!
For them and all of the children with NPC I will pray for a cure!
I really hope they live. I think that they are very important to the whole world. You can really tell that they have a really, really strong bond together. All of you are in my prayers I AM SOOOO SAD FOR YOU!!!!!
I am truly in awe of the strength and courage you all have in not giving up the most difficult fight in saving these precious and beautiful girls. I am the parent of twin daughters myself and I know what a blessing it is to be the parent of my girls. I try not to take for granted a single day raising them and watching the awesome bond they have together. You can see that beautiful bond in Addi and Cassi in each picture you allowed us to see of them. I am also the neighbor to an amazing family like yourselves. They are fighting the difficult fight too. Their daughter was diagnosed with Juvenile Onset Tay-Sachs Disease. They made difficult decisions with experimental opportunities to save their daughter and have since dedicated their lives to finding a cure for this fatal disease. They have set up a national foundation and took it world wide to not only save their daughter, but to fight for all other children like her. Watching the strenght you all have in finding a cure for your children and not stopping until then is so inspirational and I can only pray that your courage to fight until the end will inspire everyone you touch to help in the fight. We will pray until the day comes for the cure to save your children.
The video is something that everyone needs to see. Addi and Cassieare truly a gift from God who’s mission with their parents is to cure NPC disease. We have a grandaughter the same age, literally weeks apart and remember following both pregnancies. We will do whatever we can to help our friends, the Hempels, fight this heart wrenching disease.
I love the song and I love the video. Your girls are the best things in this world.
They have a pure heart and God can see that and with them they are touching so many people in this world. I hope and pray that God will help your children through this hard time in their life and be with you and your family too.
I teach a bible study class to teen girls on Wed nights and our group will keep you and the girls and all your family in our prayers.
As the paternal Grandmother to these precious girls, this beautiful video makes me weep more and pray more with all my heart that some miracle CAN happen and save my special grandaughters and the all the other special children with this disease. God Bless all of you that help in any way.
I applaud your courage in such a difficult situation. I pray for the girls that science will come up with a cure soon. May God be with your family.
Carol
